Episode 124 – Coffee is Good For You and Fitter Faster

Do you drink coffee and forget to exercise?

We invited one of our favorite authors, Health Skeptic Robert J. Davis, PhD back into the studio to discuss TWO more of his books.

We started with Coffee is Bad Good for You (2012), a book where he reviews scientific evidence on drinks (coffee/wine/milk), dietary fats, carbohydrates, sugars, spices, chocolate, garlic meat, fish, vegetarian diets and so much more.

We couldn’t cover all those topics, but we picked some to highlight just how interesting his book is.

Since he could spend more time with us, we jumped into his latest book, Fitter Faster: the Smart Way to Get in Shape in Just Minutes a Day (2022). He understands the excuses we make to avoid or quit exercising.

He partners with Brad Kolowich, Jr CPT and they have developed barrier-lowering workouts that are evidenced based.

The workouts can be done in 20 min or less AND provide what they call the Big Six Benefits and the Seven Surprising additional benefits.
